Elaiva

Elaiva was founded by Maria Borges de Sousa, an architect with great passion for design and decorative arts. With a long professional experience, Maria worked for several years in the textile area and collaborated with leading European brands, namely French, Italian and Spanish labels. In 2009 she opened her design studio and in 2013 founded Elaiva, a brand with a taste for refinement and uniqueness.

The brand reveals the designer’s passion for detailing and livest, most intense colors. Each project takes several hours to complete due to the details of each new product. Inspired by the warmth and richness of the Mediterranean, the patterns are just as delicately intricate as corals, involved in a smooth soothing touch.
